Well I bought my first EDF engine. What is it? Well it stands for Electric Ducted Fan. It goes into a remote control jet.
This is just the first step in my dream of going really fast. Well I won't be but my jet will. I mean I have topped 270Km/h on a bike but hey there is nothing like a sound of a turbine screaming.
Well it is not a turbine based engine in the true sense of the word. They are just to expensive. $2500US + just for the engine.
Well the first jet I have decided to build is the Grippen. When the engine arrives I will know what plans to print so I can figure out how much foam I need to by to make the plane.
Anyway I will post some pictures when things start falling together.
